Pega Lead Decisioning Architect (SC Cleared)

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Pega Lead Decisioning Architect to lead the design and delivery of sophisticated customer decisioning solutions using Pega Customer Decision Hub (CDH).

This is a key leadership role where you'll define decisioning architecture, shape customer engagement strategies, and provide technical direction across the full project lifecycle. Working closely with stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams, you'll ensure that decisioning solutions are scalable, effective, and aligned to business objectives within a secure environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and design of Pega Customer Decision Hub (CDH) solutions.
• Define and implement Next-Best-Action (NBA) strategies to drive personalised customer engagement.
• Design robust decisioning frameworks, engagement policies, and decision strategies.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and architectural governance to development teams.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, and delivery teams to ensure successful programme outcomes.
• Drive best practice across Pega decisioning architecture, customer engagement, and analytics capabilities.
• Ensure solutions meet security, performance, quality, and compliance standards.
• Support solution assurance, technical reviews, and stakeholder presentations throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience designing and delivering solutions using Pega Customer Decision Hub (CDH).
• Strong expertise in:
  • Next-Best-Action (NBA)
  • Adaptive Analytics
  • Decision Strategies
  • Engagement Policies
  • Customer Decisioning Frameworks
• Proven experience leading technical teams on complex Pega implementations.
• Strong architecture and solution design capability within enterprise environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Ability to engage confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Certifications

• Pega Lead Decisioning Architect (LDA) certification highly desirable.
• Candidates holding both:
  • Pega Certified Decisioning Consultant (PCDC)
  • Pega Certified System Architect (PCSA)
  will also be considered.

Security Requirements

• Active UK Security Check (SC) Clearance is essential.
• Unfortunately, candidates without active SC Clearance cannot be considered for this position.

Desirable Experience

• Experience delivering decisioning solutions within government departments, agencies, or highly regulated environments.
• Exposure to large-scale customer engagement or digital transformation programmes.
• Experience working within secure delivery environments and public sector organisations.
• Knowledge of customer analytics, personalisation, and AI-driven decisioning approaches.
