In early 2022, Arenko, a business operating at the intersection of energy and technology, wanted to successfully pivot to a software-led model. Despite strong ambitions, the organisation faced a number of challenges typical of a scaling business:

- Introducing strategic planning cycles at executive level to align technology decisions with commercial goals
- Spearheading the recruitment and onboarding alongside the internal team to build technical and operational capability
- Augmenting contract resource with urgency, while backfilling with permanent leadership roles to ensure lasting impact
- Use of our Hindsight tool to continuously enhance the candidate journey and highlight areas for investment.
The Impact
By January 2023, Arenko had successfully pivoted to a full software business, achieving sustainable development practices, improved technical quality, and strong leadership alignment. Ultimately, we helped them get “fit” for scaling.
